York Mahoning Mechanical Contractors, Inc. was founded in 1989 by Mike and Ron Fagert, purchasing the company from their father, F. Ralph Fagert, who had owned and operated it since 1960. After graduating from The Ohio State University with a mechanical engineering degree in 1979, Mike worked as a design engineer and later became a registered Professional Engineer, bringing his expertise back to the family business.
Leadership Rooted in Family
Under Mike and Ron’s leadership, York Mahoning has tackled a wide range of HVAC projects. The company prides itself on being a family-run business committed to quality and customer satisfaction. Mike’s son-in-laws, Brian Pfau and Jeremy Smith, joined the business in 2010 and 2011, respectively, further strengthening the company’s leadership. All four owners are licensed HVAC contractors, involved in every project from start to finish.

With annual revenues between $25 to $35 million, the company is equipped to handle any HVAC challenge.
