York Mahoning Mechanical Contractors, Inc. has built a reputation as one of Northeast Ohio’s premier mechanical contractors. Based in Youngstown, Ohio and family owned for over 25 years, York Mahoning specializes in providing quality heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, service, and preventative maintenance services. Our primary focus has always been and continues to be a commitment to making sure our customers are completely satisfied with all facets of their project. A key to our success has been providing the right applications for a project in the most cost effective way possible.
We employ between 40-60 highly skilled, union sheet metal workers and plumbers and pipefitters based upon project demands. Other employees include estimators, project managers, engineers, office staff and truck drivers. York Mahoning currently holds licenses in four states including Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia and in numerous municipalities throughout Ohio. We are fully licensed, bonded and insured.
Sheet Metal Fabrication
We operate a 20,000 square foot sheet metal fabrication shop, which includes two fully-automated coil lines, TDF machine, plasma cutter and various shears, breaks and other equipment. Our in-house sheet metal fabrication shop allows us custom fabricate ductwork in order to meet any project demands or timelines.
Safety
A key to York Mahoning’s ongoing success has been our dedication to workplace safety. Over the years, safety has been, and continues to be, our primary objective. All field personnel carry a 10-hour or 30-hour OSHA card and we are committed to providing the most current safety training available. We are an advanced level participant in the Drug Free Safety Program through the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation and our most recent Experience Modifier Rate (EMR) is 0.77.
